The cast of writer-director Oliver Stone’s Edward Snowden pic is coming together slowly but surely with the latest addition filling the role of a former U.S. Intelligence official.
Nicolas Cage will join the film, appearing opposite Joseph Gorden-Levitt as Snowden, Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson, Rhys Ifans, Joely Richardson and Timothy Olyphant.
The film is based on Luke Harding’s book “The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man” and Anatoly Kucherena’s “Time of the Octopus”.
Cage and Stone previously worked together on the 2005 real-life drama “World Trade Centre”.
