Nicolas Cage will star in Voltage Films’ “Pay the Ghost”, a supernatural thriller about a young boy’s mysterious disappearance from a Halloween day parade.
Cage will play the boy’s father and an NYU English professor in the Uli Edel directed pic.
Dan Kay penned the script based on a short story by Tim Lebbon.
Voltage is currently casting the female lead, aiming to begin production in a matter of months. Sales are also being launch at Cannes.
Voltage’s Nicolas Chartier and Craig Flores are producing with Midnight Kitchen Prods’ Ian Levy. Mike Nilon will exec produce while Babacar Diene and Dominic Rustam co-produce for Voltage.
