Nicole to reunite with her "Dead Calm" director

Nicole Kidman is set to re-team with her "Dead Calm" director Phil Noyce for "Magic Dirt" tell Columnists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith. "She loves the book; it’s a perfect role for Nicole, and I’m developing it with that in mind," Noyce tells the duo. "It’s a love story about a woman at a crossroads in her life, in her mid-40s, on the western coast of Australia. She has to come to terms with the past before moving on to the future." Noyce also has a major adventure flick in development, the dramatization of Thor Heyerdahl’s true-life Peru-to-Tahiti raft journey, Kon-Tiki. He won’t do the projects back-to-back, however, so we’ll have to see when "Music" will start up.
