Despite being linked to both films in the past, Natalie Portman says she doesn’t “know anything” about the new “Superman” and “Batman” films, both of which she’s been linked to in recent months.
(Actors are known, however, to deny, deny, deny until the ink’s dry – look at Bradley Cooper and “A-Team”).
Portman tells EW (via Superhero Hype) that she knows nothing about rumours linking her to the role of Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel”.
“What is that? (laughs) No, I haven’t heard anything”, the “Black Swan” actress tells the magazine.
As for “Dark Knight Rising”, in which Portman was said to be in contention to play the female lead, the actress also plays the ‘huh?’ game.
”Oh, I don’t know anything about that”.
It’s possible that Portman has had talks and has turned both those roles down, or it’s possible that Warner Bros hasn’t yet reached out to the actress about either role. With Portman recently announcing her pregnancy though, I’d say it’s a long shot she’s going to end up in either film now anyway.
