Now Marley & Me is a TV series!?

NBC is developing a “Marley & Me” sequel for TV.

Director David Frankel and writer Jenny Bicks are developing the half-hour TV version from 20th Century Fox TV which is said to pick up a few years after the 2008 film ended.

According to Deadline, the single-camera comedy will follow the same family, who decide to take in a stray that they name Marley after their late dog.

Frankel and Bicks will exec produce with Karen Rosenfelt.

The film, which starred Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, was based on John Grogan’s book.
