Unlike “Ocean’s 8”, “The Batman”, “Keeping Up With The Joneses”, “Sully”, “Sing” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Out of the Shadows”, Legendary and Universal seem to have a title decider on staff.
While most won’t give a hoot about the sequel to 2014’S “Pacific Rim”, (c’mon, it was fairly average, no1?) points to creatives for coming up with a title that’s at least trying to get people to leave their thrones for a cushy cinema seat.

“Pacific Rim : Maelstrom”, which star John Boyega confirmed as the title over on Instagram, is currently shooting in Australia aka The Matrix.
“Malestorm”, er, “Maelstrom” (Malestorm was what happened yesterday when Trump won), also starring Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny and Jing Tian, is directed by Steven S.DeKnight and hits theaters February 23, 2018.
