Patrick Wilson to get us all back in the water in 2018!

The adorable Patrick Wilson, now somewhat of a household name thanks to his roles in the spooky “Insidious” and “Conjuring” movies, is returning to his roots with his next role.

Wilson, who got his start playing the immoral mess of a husband in Todd Field’s “Little Children” and later took on Bradley Cooper and company in the fun but forgettable “A-Team” movie, is set to twirl his mustache (I have no idea, honestly) and giggle all pedo-at-a-park (I dunno… do they?) again. He’s been cast as the villain in DC’s “Aquaman”.

The movie reunites Wilson with the director of “Insidious” and “The Conjuring”, James Wan, which again goes to remind every budding actor out there – it doesn’t matter how great you are an actor or whether or not you rocked that audition, it’s really about who you’re friends on LinkedIn with.

Deadline dropped the news, saying Wilson’s playing ORM aka Ocean Master, in the 2018 release. He’s apparently the title character’s half-brother – – yep, I know, how “Thor”. Seems Marvel and DC are as competitive as they are mimickers.

Wilson, whose newest film “The Hollow Point” opens Friday, joins Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Amber Heard (Mera) in in the October 5, 2018 release. We’re guessing he’ll live through that first film to reprise the role another twenty five times.

And just because it’s Christmas, here’s another jpeg I’ll gift you ladies of the man himself.
