It was reported recently that Kristen Wiig was in talks to play Cheetah, the newest villain for “Wonder Woman 2”, and now director Patty Jenkins has confirmed the news on her Twitter account.

Gal Gadot is returning in the lead role, with Jenkins in the director’s chair. The film will be set in the 80s during the Cold War. Not much else is known about the plot thus far, so we’re looking forward to more details!
