20th Century Fox has signed “Bridesmaids” helmer Paul Feig up for a “Play-Doh” movie.
(I know, right!? I had to check the date the article was published – just in case it was a last minute April Fools courtesy of the trades!)
Deadline says the director of the forthcoming “Spy” and “Ghostbusters” will write and direct a film based on the modeling clay. Quite the challenge!
“Play-Doh” is one of many Hasbro products being turned into a movie; others include “Jem and the Holograms”, “Candy Land”, and “Monopoly”.
