New Predator sequel poster and title!

The first teaser art for Shane Black’s upcoming “Predator” sequel has been released on Facebook.

Consequently, the film’s title was also unveiled.

“The Predator” is said to follow-on from the events of the original “Predator” – which, fanboys will recall, co-writer/director Black had an acting role in. It’s also widely known that Black, who went on to become an accomplished screenwriter and filmmaker with such credits as “Lethal Weapon” and “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” to his name, helped tweak the script for the 1987 classic.

Black co-wrote the script with his “Monster Squad” cohort Fred Dekker.  The former will handle directing duties on the movie. If the title and poster reveal is anything to go by, it’d seem the movie is inching closer now.
