It promo pics released ahead of trailer

Warner Bros have released the first promotional pictures of upcoming flick “It”, which is expected to have a trailer drop in the next day or two.

The horror is based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, and is directed by Andrés Muschietti. The film will also no doubt be compared to the 1990 miniseries, which starred Tim Curry as the clown Pennywise that scared pretty much everyone off circuses for life.

“It” will focus on the group of kids known as ‘The Losers’ Club’, and how they band together to defeat the evil clown It.

“It happens in the book, this coming of age and kids facing their own mortality, which is something that in real life happens in a more progressive way and slowed down,” Muschietti says. “There’s a passage (in It) that reads, ‘Being a kid is learning how to live and being an adult is learning how to die.’ There’s a bit of a metaphor of that and it just happens in a very brutal way, of course.”

The Losers’ Club will consist of actors Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chosen Jacobs, and Bill Skarsgård has been cast as the ancient evil known as IT, aka Pennywise. A sequel is expected if the film does well, to tie to two parts of the novel together, and will be set 30 years following this one, focusing on The Losers’ Club as adults.

Check out the creepy new images below, and stay tuned for the trailer. The movie will be released September 8th.
