“Avengers” twosome Jeremy Renner & Elizabeth Olsen will team for “Wind River”, a drama written by “Sicario” scribe Taylor Sheridan, who will also cut his directing teeth on the Thunder Road produced project.
The pic, set to lens in March in Park City, boasts Peter Berg (“Friday Night Lights”) as one of it’s producers.
Flick centers on “Cory (Renner), who works for the Fish and Game Department as a hunter of coyotes and other predators. Suffering from the death of his teen daughter, he stumbles upon the raped body of a teenage girl frozen in the desolate wilderness. A rookie FBI agent (Olsen) unfamiliar with the terrain and weather is happy enlists Cory to help her find those responsible.”
Renner and Olsen appeared together in last Summer’s “Avengers : Age of Ultron”, starring as Hawkeye and Scarlett Witch, respectively.
