Rogen, Wiig join Arrested Development

Comedy powerhouse actors Kristen Wiig (‘Bridesmaids’, ‘Paul’) and Seth Rogen (‘Knocked Up’, ‘Superbad’) are set to appear in the resurrected comedy series, ‘Arrested Development’, according to THR.

Trade says that Wiig and Rogen will be making appearances when the comedy launches its new episodes on Netflix in May, alongside some other big name guest stars including Conan O’Brien and Australian actress Isla Fisher.

Fans will also be thrilled to know that there are [still] plans to follow up the series with a feature film.

“This is the first act of what we would like to complete in a movie. These are episodes that set that up. One does not work without the other” said series creator Mitch Hurwitz at the recent Television Critics Association’s winter press tour.
