‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper (1954 – 2015)

One of the most controversial, lively and entertaining figures in Wrestling in the ’80s, the Canadian – billed as ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper throughout his sports career – was best known for his in-ring clashes with Hulk Hogan.

In 1988, Piper starred in John Carpenter’s science-fiction film “They Live”, cementing himself an acting career.
