Caffeinated Clint
The third “Wolverine” movie will be based on a comic arc called ‘Old Man Logan’, according to Marvel Movie News.
The comic, written by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, was set in a future universe where the super villains of the Marvel universe have wiped out the world’s superheroes. A lot of Marvel superheroes appeared in the comic, but as Fox don’t have the rights to them – aside from Wolverine himself and Emma Frost – it’s likely the film will be considerably different to the source material.
Wolverine will return to theaters March 3, 2017.
