Starring in the direct-to-DVD sequel to “Lake Placid”
Rumours of another “Jaws” outing might have been premature – but there’s another creature of the deep that’s definitely rising again.
That quick-snapping crocodile of “Lake Placid” is making a comeback to town waters. Dave Flores (“BOA Vs Python”) is directing the sequel, which against pits a populace of innocent [and some not-so-innocent] folks against a crocodile that lurks in the local lake.
Superman’s pop, ex-“Smallville” star John Schneider, will this time be left with a pair of scaly boots by films end. Co-starring with him, Cloris Leachman (“Beerfest”) and newcomer Chad Collins (“Legion of the Dead”).
The movie, filmed in Bulgaria, will premiere on the Sci-Fi channel before making the quick route to DVD from Fox.
