Scooby-Doo movie in the works with Dax Shepard to co-direct

Dax Shepard is in negotiations to co-direct Warner Bros’ upcoming animated “Scooby-Doo” movie with “Space Jam” helmer Tony Cervone.

Shepard will also co-write the screenplay with Matt Lieberman, reports Variety.

Charles Roven and Richard Suckle are producing the movie which has been slated for release on September 21, 2018.

Dan Povenmire will exec produce.
