Sequel production dates : Indiana Jones 5 & Wonder Woman 2

Director Steven Spielberg has officially announced that “Indiana Jones 5” will begin production in April 2019. Spielberg appeared at the Empire Awards to announce the date:

“It’s always worth the trip when I get to work with this deep bench of talent coming out of the UK. The actors, and the crew, the chippies, the sparks, the drivers, everybody who has helped me make my movies here, and will continue helping me make my movies here when I come back in April 2019 to make the fifth Indiana Jones movie right here.”

The film has a set date of July 20, 2020 with Disney. Rumour has it that Indy’s (Harrison Ford) wife will return, but alas no son Mutt Williams. Sorry, Shia!!

Script details are remaining a secret, but David Koepp is currently penning the film (the man who wrote “The Legend of the Crystal Skull”).

Disney has previously stated that this won’t be the last time we see Indiana Jones, but no doubt the next team will take the reigns from here, giving us some new and fresh younger faces.

“Wonder Woman 2” has been making good progress lately, with Kristen Wiig confirmed as the key villain Cheetah and both Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins returning to their popular roles.

According to Omega Underground, the film will begin production in June, in the United States. Specifically – the areas of Northern Virginia and District of Columbia.

Jenkins has previously stated the film will be set in America during the Cold War in the 80s.

The release date for the film is set at November 1, 2019.
