Sequel News : Jeepers Creepers 3, Ghostbusters Indiana Jones 5

“Jeepers Creepers” star Gina Phillips will reprise her role as Trish in the “Jeepers Creepers 3”, according to Bloody Disgusting.

Filming next month in Vancouver, the Victor Salva-directed sequel “will show events on the last day of the Creeper’s twenty-three day feeding frenzy, as the skeptical Sergent Tubbs teams up with a task force hellbent on destroying the Creeper for good. The Creeper fights back in gory glory as its enemies grow closer than ever before to learning the secret of its dark origins.”

Jonathan Breck is back in the title role of The Creeper, with Brandon Smith returning as Sergeant Davis Tubbs.

In other sequel news, seems that other “Ghostbusters” movie, the one that would’ve teamed the Russo brothers with Channing Tatum (as a Ghostbuster) is no longer happening.

Joe Russo told Forbes, “There is no status with that for us. There was a period there when Paul Feig was engaging Sony in talks about ‘Ghostbusters’ and we were also engaging them. He was further along with his process than we were and he closed his deal so that’s the only ‘Ghostbusters’ world that’s being explored right now over at Sony. Once we took ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ it [took] us off the table for any kind of any potential work on a ‘Ghostbusters’ project.”

Hot off of the big “Indiana Jones 5” announcement, actor Harrison Ford spoke to Jimmy Kimmel about the movie – noting that he hasn’t seen a script yet but is super excited to be reprising the role.
