Shannon, Stanfield for Last Jedi director’s next

Lakeith Stanfield (“Atlanta”) and Michael Shannon (“Waco”) have joined the cast of Rian Johnson’s “Knives Out”.

The mystery thriller, described as a modern-day murder mystery in the classic Agatha Christie whodunit style, stars Daniel Craig as Poirot-like character.

Craig and Stanfield will play detectives. No word on Shannon’s character.

Chris Evans is also onboard the film, which is based on a screenplay by “Last Jedi” helmer Johnson.

“Knives Out” will shoot in November.
