Warners has skedded superhero pic “Shazam” for an April 5th, 2019 release.
In addition to a run in traditional theaters, the David F.Sandberg directed film will be receiving an IMAX release.
Shooting is expected to kick off shortly on the movie, which stars Zachary Levi in the title role.
Meantime, the studio has removed “Flashpoint” -the long-awaited film adaptation of the “Flash” comic arc – from it’s schedule. movie, starring Ezra Miller as the Scarlet speedster, was originally due to open July 27, 2018 but has suffered a few hiccups lately (um, it doesn’t have a director), so production has been pushed back.
