Cinema Confidential caught up with Director Steven Spielberg who mentioned his next project may be the Abraham Lincoln project. "I think history is important," he said. "I know that I want to make a movie about Abraham Lincoln and I have a script in development right now about the relationship between Abe Lincoln and Frederick Douglas, and John Logan’s writing it, and that’s a movie I’m probably going to make in the next 18 months or 2 years." Spielberg says he’ll most likely do the film before starting work on "Indiana Jones 4" in 2004.
