Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant will star in director Stephen Frears’ Florence Foster Jenkins biopic.
In the film titled “Florence”, Streep will play the titular character – a New York heiress determined to become a famous opera singer despite her lack of talent. Grant will play her partner and manager, actor St. Clair Bayfield.
Nicholas Martin penned the script. Michael Kuhn and Tracey Seaward are the producers.
