Is Joel Kinnaman going to star in Warner Bros’ “Suicide Squad”?
The Wrap reports that Kinnaman is in negotiations replace Tom Hardy as Rick Flagg after Hardy pulled out due to scheduling conflicts.
Flagg is the leader of the group of villain known as The Suicide Squad.
“Fury” helmer David Ayer is directing with Will Smith as Batman villain Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as The Joker, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.
The Wrap also reports that Viola Davis is in negotiations to play Amanda Waller and Jesse Eisenberg is in talks to reprise his upcoming role as Lex Luthor.
With filming due to kick off in Toronto in April, the film has been set for release on August 5, 2016.
