Any good superhero needs a saucy love interest, right?
Well don’t fret, because CBS has found Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl just that.
“Desperate Housewives” and “True Blood” actor Mehcad Brooks has been cast as attractive photographer James “Jimmy” Olsen in the upcoming pilot “Supergirl”.
Jimmy, a DC Comics character, works at CatCo, the same company as Kara Zor-El (aka Supergirl). In the “Superman” comics, he was friends with Lois Lane and Clark Kent (Kara’s cousin).
Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler are exec producers of the show and also penned the pilot screenplay.
