The new series, which will also feature super-alumni Helen Slater and Cain, will air on CBS.
Dean Israelite (”Project Almanac”) is in advanced negotiations to direct the “Power Rangers” movie, according to The Wrap. The filmmaker is apparently a big “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” fan which bodes well for the property. Ashley Miller & Zack Stentz (“X-Men : First Class”) are penning the script for the movie, which is due in theaters next year.
The powers-that-be have denied that they’re doing it, yet the rumour mill suggests a “Planet Hulk” movie might still be on the cards. Talking to IGN, ‘Hulk’ himself Mark Ruffalo suggested the idea is definitely taking some type of shape, ”there’s some talk of maybe Planet Hulk. I’d be completely interested in entertaining that.”
