The teaser for Showtime’s upcoming mini-series “Penny Dreadful”, written by “Skyfall” scribe John Logan and executive produced by Sam Mendes, is online.
The Victorian London-set series combines classic movie monster characters like Dorian Gray, Dr. Frankenstein, and Dracula. Eva Green, Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Harry Treadaway, Billie Piper, and Danny Sapani star.
Juan Antonion Bayona (“The Orphanage”) directed the first two episodes of the 8-episode first season.
