Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

One of the coolest experiences I had as a movie goer and TMNT fan. I possibly loved it so much because I half expected Saturday morning cartoon-rubbish plot and script, and even an unbiased opinion must concede that it was well written, adequately acted and more than adequately scripted, paced and designed for its target audience. Tells the basic story of the TMNT legend as they grow, come into their own and battle their nemesis the Shredder. Not a great movie but an entertaining one, with the most natural creature and makeup effects of its day – no small feat in the days when computers didn’t do everything.

Blu-ray details/extras : Not a bad audio/video transfer, definitely a step-up from DVD and VHS. Lone extra is the trailer, in SD.
