The bigscreen relaunch of “The Crow” franchise is, despite the setbacks, still a go project.
Producer Edward R.Pressman was at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival recently and offered The Hollywood Reporter a progress report on the film.
Pressman said the film, a reboot of the ’90s classic starring the late Brandon Lee, would begin production next year… “in the Spring”.
Though no casting has been confirmed, Luke Evans had previously been attached to play the title role of a character Pressman describes as “the anti-Spider-Man”.
Pressman recently completed work on his 90th film, ”The Man Who Knew Infinity”, a Dev Patel-starring biopic about Indian math genius Srinivasa Ramanujan based on the book by Robert Kanigel.
