Kiersey Clemons (“Flatliners”, “Dope”) will play Darling, the owner of Lady, in Disney’s live-action/CGI remake of “Lady and the Tramp”, says Heat Vision.
Justin Theroux is onboard to voice Tramp, the scruffy pooch who wins over the spoilt Cocker Spaniel after she winds up on the street. Ashley Jensen is also a lock for the film, voicing Jackie.
Charlie Bean directs the flick, which is expected to premiere on Disney’s upcoming digital streaming service sometime next year.
Clemons is currently attached to play Iris West in the long-gestating feature adaptation of DC’s “The Flash” at Warner Bros.
