James and Dave Franco are set to star opposite one another when they appear in “The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room”.
James Franco will produce, direct and star in the drama about Tommy Wiseau’s film “The Room”, which gradually developed a passionate cult following. The film will be based on Greg Sestero’s book which gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film. Dave Franco will play Sestero while James portrays Wiseau.
The rights to Sestero’s book were acquired earlier this year by James Franco’s Rabbit Bandini Productions and Seth Rogen’s Point Grey.
Dave Franco confirmed the news during a screening of “The Room” in LA. James Franco also tweeted the news:
