Just a month after it hit theaters, Sony’s controversial (but let’s admit it, not very good) “The Interview” is headed to Netflix.
Sony has struck a deal with the streamer that sees Seth Rogen and James Franco take the piss out of Kim Jong-Un on Netflix from Saturday – that’s just 30 days after the film’s theatrical release. Yes, it’s a record.. apparently. Shortest window between a theatrical and Netflix release.. or something.
“The Interview” will be available on both U.S and Canada’s Netflix service. Those in Mexico can still watch “Kindergarten Cop” though – they’ll also be more satisfied.
