Annabelle Wallis is in talks to play the female lead opposite Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella in Universal’s reboot of “The Mummy”.
Should the deal come off, Wallis will play an archaeologist.
Jon Spaihts wrote the script which is set in the present day and features a female monster, played by Boutella.
Directed by Alex Kurtzman, “The Mummy” will open on June 9, 2017.
