Things will remain Awkward at MTV

MTV’s “Awkward” will be back for a fifth and final season, Variety reports.

Ashley Rickards, Beau Mirchoff, Molly Tarlov, Jillian Rose Reed, Brett Davern, Nikki DeLoach, Desi Lydic, Greer Grammer and Mike Faiola star in the series about a group of suburban teenagers.
The show premiered in 2011 from creator Lauren Iugerich – who is no longer involved – with exec producers Mike Chessler and Chris Albergheni now also taking up the role of showrunners.

Season four is currently airing on Tuesdays at 10pm on MTV.
