Three charged with kidnapping Halloween actress

Shocking news out of the U.S today with three people brought up on charges for kidnapping two actors – Daisy McCrackin, known for her role as ‘Donna’ in “Halloween Resurrection” and actor Joseph Capone (“Fighting for Freedom”) – in their Californian home.

Keith Andre Stewart, Johntae Jones and Amber Neal were charged with 17 felony counts including kidnapping, assault with a firearm, grand theft, mayhem, conspiracy and possession for sale of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In May, the trio allegedly kidnapped McCrackin from her South L.A home, where Stewart allegedly “pistol whipped” Capone and put “black bags over McCrackin and Capone’s heads before transporting them to Jones’ home in Compton.”

Jones was apparently left naked in a bathtub for 30 hours, while the trio drove McCrackin to multiple banks in her own car demanding $10,000 to release him. The actress wrote a check to Neal, who deposited the funds into his own account. After the incident, McCracken contacted law enforcement.

According to the trade, Stewart and Jones are facing a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole, while Neal is facing a maximum sentence of life in prison. Bail has been set at $1 million for Jones and Neal, and at $2.08 million for Stewart. The defendants have been scheduled for a court appearance on July 23 for a pretrial hearing.

The case is still under investigation.
