“What Men Want” is a take on the Mel Gibson flick “What Women Want”, but with the obvious twist in the tale being about us chicks finding out what the men are after.
A while back it was confirmed that Taraji P. Henson was to be in the lead role, and now The Tracking Board have reported that Tracy Morgan is joining the flick as a new lead.
The new film finds Henson playing a sports agent who has been constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When she gains the ability to hear men’s thoughts, she uses it to her advantage as she races to sign the NBA’s next superstar.
According to the report, Morgan will play the NBA star’s father, who is brash and loud, a la current Lakers “dadager” Lavar Ball.
Adam Shankman is directing and executive producing the film, which is being produced by Will Packer and James Lopez. Brian Robbins and Ali Bell are spearheading production for Paramount Players, which is slated to release “What Men Want “on Jan. 11, 2019.
