“Before The Conjuring There Was Annabelle”
The first trailer for “The Conjuring” spinoff “Annabelle” has been released.
The vid depicts a husband (Ward Horton) presenting his pregnant wife (Annabelle Wallis) with a creepy-looking doll to complete her collection. Cue disaster.
The spinoff draws connection to a haunted doll named Annabelle that featured in “The Conjuring” as part of a collection of demonic objects assembled by paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga).
“The Conjuring” cinematographer John Leonetti is directing from a Gary Dauberman screenplay.
The film, to be produced by Peter Safran and James Wan, will be released on October 3.
