The highly-anticipated trailer for Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast” adaptation has debuted and it’s almost as beautiful as the film’s main character.
Directed by Bill Condon and based on the 1991 animated film, “Beauty and the Beast” stars Emma Watson and Dan Stevens as the title pair. Co-stars include Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as LeFou, Kevin Kline as Maurice (Belle’s father), Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette the feather duster, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, and Stanley Tucci as a grand piano named Cadenza.
“Beauty and the Beast” will be released in U.S. theaters on March 17, 2017.
“Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
