“Maniac” tells the stories of Annie Landsberg (Emma Stone) and Owen Milgrim (Jonah Hill), two strangers drawn to the late stages of a mysterious pharmaceutical trial. Things do not go as planned.
The 10-episode miniseries also stars Sally Field, Julia Garner, Jemima Kirke, Rob Yang, Sonoya Mizuno, Gabriel Byrne and Billy Magnussen. The series is from Cary Joji Fukunaga and arrives September 21.
