Watch Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce in the brand new trailer for Australian crime drama “The Rover”.
The film follows Eric (Pearce), set on tracking down a gang on criminals who stole his car. Along the way he meets a stranded, injured member of the gang Rey (Pattinson) who Eric forces to help him.
The trailer shows the leading men looking rough, to say the least.
David Michôd wrote and directed the pic which is based on a story Michôd did with Joel Edgerton. Starring alongside Pattinson and Pearce are Scoot McNairy, Anthony Hayes, Gillian Jones, Susan Prior, Nash Edgerton, David Field, Jamie Fallon and Samuel F. Lee.
“The Rover” will screen at Cannes before showing in Gotham and LA theatres on June 13. It will be more widely available from June 20.
