Caffeinated Clint
According to Deadline, “True Detective” stunner Alexandra Daddario (anyone seen her episode last week!? Phwoar!) has snared the lead role in “San Andreas” opposite… someone with as big a chest as her, Dwayne Johnson.
The movie, set to shoot in Australia in April, stars Johnson as a chopper pilot who sets out to rescue his estranged daughter after a massive earthquake hits California.
Housed at New Line, with Brad Peyton (“Journey : The Mysterious Island”) directing, “San Andreas” will likely be the first of many big flicks (word is she’s being courted for “Entourage”, too) for Daddario, also known for her roles in the “Perry Jackson” movie and that last “Texas Chainsaw” flick (where she finds out she’s a long-lost member of the nutty, murderous clan).
