It’s only been streaming for a month, but Netflix obviously has confidence in Jason Bateman’s “Ozark”, as it’s been renewed for a second season. Netflix announced the news, stating that the show will be on for another 10 episodes for a second coming.
The show thus far has had mixed reviews, which just goes to show that Netflix will do whatever the f*ck they want to when it comes to their channel, as they get a lot of backlash with a lot of their decisions. “Ozark” also stars Laura Linney and Sofia Hublitz.
Stephen King’s “Castle Rock” series is getting a new cast member, with Scott Glenn joining the ranks. The Hulu series already has Andre Holland, Sissy Spacek, Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy and IT star Bill Skarsgård (not playing Pennywise, though). Glenn will play retired Sheriff Alan Pangborn, who presided over the fictional titular town during its darkest years.
The show is described as a psychological horror-drama that weaves together characters and themes from a multitude of Stephen King works to create an “epic saga of darkness and light played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland.”

In news that won’t surprise fans of “The Flash”, Tom Cavanagh will return in season 4 as a new Harrison Wells. This continues the trend from the past 3 seasons, in which a new version of the character shows up every season.
Cavanagh stated (via CBR):
And so this year, we’ve had a different villain and so I think there’s going to be areas that we could use a different Wells. We’re going to start with Harry and then find a way, I think, to try and get a different version of Wells in there, be it some version of Harry or whatnot as the season’s gaps present themselves.
Cavanagh offered no further details about what form we’ll see him take, but time will tell. “The Flash” hits TV screens for season 4 on October 10.
Julian McMahon has joined the cast of the Hulu series “Runways”. The Marvel show has been created by Brian K. Vaughn and Adrian Alphona, and tells the story of a group of teens who learn their parents are supervillains. After their discovery, they head out on their own and use their unique skills to defeat their parents and help save Los Angeles however they can.
McMahon will join the show as a character named Jonah. The synopsis for his character reads: “McMahon will play Jonah in the series. While his origins and ultimate intentions are unknown, he is a pivotal player in the Runaways’ rebellion against their parents.”
