  • “Casino Royale” star Jeffrey Wright has joined “Boardwalk Empire” as a regular. ”He will play Valentin Narcisse, Doctor of Divinity, philanthropist, student of culture and the man who runs Harlem. Season 4 is currently in production and will debut later this year”. (Deadline)
  • Kurt Fuller (“Parenthood”) will play Jason Ritter’s dad in the Fox sitcom “Friends and Family”, the U.S version of “Gavin & Stacey”. “Fuller will play Gavin’s father Michael, a curmudgeon (his character description says he’s “full of piss and balsamic vinegar”) who drives his feisty wife Pam bonkers.” (The Hollywood Reporter)
  • Derek Luke (“Friday Night Lights”) will star opposite Jason Lee in the new CBS drama “Second Sight”, ”a gothic psychological thriller about Tanner (Lee), the lead detective with the New Orleans Police Department who is hiding the fact that he has an ocular disorder that causes him to have horrifying hallucinations. Luke plays detective Paul Giroux who is new to the team.” (Deadline)
  • Matthew Lillard (“The Descendants”) will star in the NBC pilot “I Am Victor”, starring John Stamos as Victor Port “a high powered divorce attorney with a unique view of relationships. Lillard, repped by Paradigm, plays Victor’s best friend Elliott, an off-beat, off-books former cop who helps Victor acquire information and things, legally and otherwise.” (Deadline)
  • Melissa George (“Hunted”) will star in ABC’s “Gothica”, which “weaves together a mythology that incorporates the legends of Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, Frankenstein and Dorian Gray. It centers on journalist Grace Van Helsing (Janet Montgomery) who takes over her family’s hometown newspaper. George, repped by ICM Partners, 3 Arts and Smelkinson, will play Fiona Hunter, the series’ most formidable force, and everyone – from Grace, to Dorian (Chris Egan), to Victor Frankenstein (Tom Ellis) – will find their mettle and savvy tested by this deliciously cunning woman.” (Deadline)
  • Scott Bakula (“Men of a Certain Age”) is joining Geena Davis in TNT’s untitled Bounty Hunter pilot. “The drama stars Davis as Mackenzie “Mack” Green, an unconventional bail bondswoman and bounty hunter whose eccentric personality and unusual tactics give her an advantage in a tough and unpredictable business. Bakula will play Mack’s ex-husband Pete, a cop, joining previously cast Gloria Reuben, Marsha Mason and Enrico Colantoni.” (Deadline)
