A “24” prequel fixing on a young Jack Bauer is in the works.
Joel Surnow and Bob Cochran are teaming to pen the script for what The Hollywood Reporter hears will be an ongoing series rather than a limited series like the most recent incarnations of “24”, ”24: Legacy” and ”24: Live Another Day”.
Executive producer Howard Gordon is attached to the project and is working with Surnow and Cochran on the idea. Keifer Sutherland would obviously not reprise Bauer.
