Twin Peaks delayed until 2017

CBS’ “Twin Peaks” series has been delayed until 2017.

Previously planned to hit the airwaves in 2016 (25 years after the original show ended), Deadline reports the drama series has been delayed until sometime in 2017.

Kyle McLachlan is returning to star in the follow-up series opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh, Robert Knepper, Balthazar Getty and Amanda Seyfried.

David Lynch is directing the series from the script he penned with co-creator Mark Frost.
