John Goodman and Thomas Mann are the latest thesps to join the cast of Legendary’s “Kong: Skull Island”.
According to Variety, Mann is in final negotiations while Deadline reports Goodman is a lock for the role of Randa, a government official who leads an expedition.
Mann is in line to play an explorer who ventures onto the titular island.
Jordan Vogt-Roberts is directing the “Kong” prequel from a screenplay by John Gatins and Max Borenstein. Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and John C. Reilly are attached to star.
