Universal to remain on the Chris Pratt train

Universal will make Chris Pratt starrer “The Real McCoy” after it won a battle for the rights to the pitch over Warner Bros, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The Bill Dubuque written pitch – Universal won it in $1.5 million against $3 million deal – centers on a bootlegger, played by “Jurassic World” star Pratt, whose life inspired the phrase “The real McCoy”.

The film was the brainchild of producer Michael De Luca.
