In another gender-switch remake, 1988’s “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” is getting the switch-up, this time with Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway in the lead roles.
Wilson has announced the official name of the film and release date on her Twitter (see below), announcing it as being called “The Hustle” and being released June 29th. She has also included the first look of the duo in the film.

The original film starred Michael Caine and Steve Martin as the two con artists, going up against each other to grift $50k out of an unsuspecting heiress (played by the late Glenne Headly).
The comedic duo of Caine and Martin will be tough to beat, but let’s hope that Wilson and Hathaway can step up to the challenge. Fingers crossed for a trailer soon.
