Claire Holt, of “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals”, is rumoured to be the frontrunner to play Supergirl in the new television adaptation of the DC Comic.
According to The Wrap, Holt – next in NBC event series “Aquarius” opposite David Duchovny – is the only actress they’ve got wind of being linked to the role, but that doesn’t mean others aren’t under consideration. Also, no word on how far in the casting process is.
The CBS series will tell of 24-year-old Kara Zor-El, a Kryptonian hiding on Earth. She has hidden her abilities… till now.
