Before plans changed and the long-proposed “Inhumans” movie became a recently-announced TV series, Vin Diesel had championed to play the role of Black Bolt.
Now that the comic series adaptation is headed to Television, it’s doubtful Diesel will be involved.
“Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn – who worked with the actor on the two “Guardians” films (he voices Groot) -tells Facebook readers that the “xXx” actor probably won’t be a part of the eight-part Marvel Television series.
“‘The Inhumans’ is going to be a TV show. Unless Vin wants to take a huge pay cut and sign up to do a TV show it seems unlikely.”
“Inhumans”, which will air on ABC, will premiere it’s first two episodes on IMAX screens in the Fall.
